The Matildas will start their journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics in their first Asian Qualifiers match tonight in Perth.

Taking on Iran in the ‘Women’s Olympic Football Tournament Paris 2024’, the Tillies, captained once again by Sam Kerr, will kick off at 7pm AWST, 10pm AEDT.

The green and gold legends will then take on the Philippines on Sunday 29 October and Chinese Taipei on Wednesday 1 November.

Here’s your cheeky screenshot if you need to add it to your camera roll:

So, where can you see them play? How can you get the gang together to re-learn the off-side rule?

IRL:

Unfortunately tickets for the Perth-based games are officially sold out. We’re taking this as a good thing – supporting women’s sport = green flags all around.

That leaves us with streaming and the like.

Streaming:

According to the official Matildas site, we can catch the pros live and free via 10 Bold (WA, QLD & NT) and Channel 10 (NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS & SA). The match will also be simulcast on the 10 Play app and on Paramount+ for fans across Australia.

And, if you’re an international fan or can’t for the life of you remember what free-to-air TV is / don’t have Paramount+, you can watch it for free on YouTube channel below:

And The Like:

We all know one of the best ways to watch sport is at the pub with a few dozen (or hundred) of your newest mates. While we’d love to give you a list of every pub in Australia streaming the match, there’s a few thousand and Taylor Swift’s latest re-launch is tomorrow.

So, we are therefore empowering you do a ring around / social stalk and ask your local. The Matildas need you (and you need a schnitty).

Listen via the Star 104.5 Player, download it now via the App Store or Google Play and take Star 104.5 wherever you go.
