Calling all would-be property buyers: two iconic Central Coast suburbs have been named among some of the hottest to watch in Australia for 2025 and we’ve got all the deets.
According to realestate.com.au’s expert panel, Point Clare and Long Jetty have been named among the 100 hottest suburbs to watch for the year ahead.
For the third year running, the property website has gathered experts to assess everything from affordability to family appeal, location, infrastructure and even population growth.
Point Clare made the cut thanks to its amenities and investment opportunities, whilst Long Jetty’s demographic change and location boosted its place on the list.
President of the Real Estate Buyers Agents Association of Australia (REBAA) Linda Johnson told realestate.com.au that nearby pristine beaches and affordability were key to the suburb’s placement on the list.
“Long Jetty is also one of the suburbs welcoming the overflow of buyers who can no longer afford other popular beachside suburbs lying between Killcare and Wamberal,” Ms Johnson said.
“The suburb is emerging as a hip and happening hub offering art, fashion, cafes, bars and other cultural experiences such as the monthly markets.”
Property buyer Rich Harvey said Point Clare’s transport connectivity and gentrification is a big appeal to buyers.
“Located at the gateway to the southern Central Coast, the suburb has easy access to the M1, has its own station on the Sydney to Newcastle train line and is minutes away from the Gosford CBD with shopping, hospital and sport,” Harvey said.
“Older original houses move up the hill to provide beautiful easterly views over the Brisbane Water. As these are being renovated and modernised, values in the suburb are increasing.”
The hottest suburb list comes off the back of the news that the property prices right across the Central Coast have grown including in Copacabana, Long Jetty and North Avoca.
