And most capital cities aren’t that bad.
Everyone knows how annoying an airport delay can be. I mean, there’s only so many times you can aimlessly wonder around the magazine in the overpriced general store. It’s an annoying but unavoidable part of travelling by air.
However, some airports seem to have more delays than others. An analysis of BITRE data by finder.com.au found the top ten airports that are most likely to have flight delays.
Let’s take a look.
10. Mackay
9. Melbourne
8. Dubbo
7. Rockhampton
6. Albury
5. Sydney
4. Launceston
3. Gold Coast
2. Hobart
1. Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast came in first with a whopping 1/3 of all domestic flights being delayed in the year of 2017.
We don’t know about you, but we’ll be skipping the flight out of the Sunshine Coast this year.
