The Men’s Table is a unique space and environment for men to share openly about their lives, challenges and their highs and lows with a group of men who they learn to trust and respect.

The gathering began in 2011 when a group of men decided to have dinner with the intention of having a place to connect with other men and chat about the highs and lows of their lives.

Since then, they’ve been meeting once a month to talk, laugh and share what is going on for them in their lives and forge meaningful relationships based on their trust and acceptance of each other.

Belonging to a table helps to contribute to their mental, emotional and social wellbeing whilst providing powerful support to individual members as they continue on their life journeys.

Whilst men’s primary experience is of their own table, being part of the growing community helps men be part of the bigger picture and continues to help make positive changes towards healthy men, healthy masculinities and healthy communities.

There are 130+ Men’s Tables across the country that each has its own personality, which is guided by the lessons learnt through the experiences of existing Men’s tables.

These tables are supported by the Kitchen (AKA the central office of this not-for-profit organisation).

There are several tables located on the Central Coast which are located within the vicinity of Ourimbah, East Gosford and Bateau Bay, which gather once a month.

The Tables are continuing to grow across the Central Coast and wider state with the Men’s Table encouraging men to get in contact for an Entree.

Entrees are an introduction to table through stories and dialogue over dinner for men interested in being part of The Men’s Table.

They are an opportunity to experience how a Table works through open sharing over a relaxed and conversational meal and to decide if joining a Table is for you.

The ticket cost includes a meal and registrations are limited to 16 men.

You can register your interest for an Entree Introduction Session via The Men’s Table website here.

The Men’s Table also holds various community events, online and in-person, where men from across Tables come together to share, learn and connect.
