Check your lotto tickets Central Coast, because one of you has a cool $2.5 million to claim.
The Lott is searching for the owner of the mystery ticket, purchased at The Entrance Newsagency for the Saturday night draw.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he hoped the Central Coast’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.
“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they became a multi-millionaire in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw,” Hart said.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket from The Entrance Newsagency to check their tickets today.”
Lotto players can check their tickets in-store or online today, and if you discover you are holding the winning ticket contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.
The Entrance Newsagency owner Blake Gavljak said news of the big win was spreading quickly around town, and his family owned business was celebrating.
“Before the weekend, we had never been fortunate in the 10 years that we have owned the business to sell a division one winning entry,” Gavljak said.
“In this time, we have seen a lot of customers be one number off division one, but this is the first time we have had the opportunity to be a part of changing a customer’s life.”
Despite the winner remaining elusive, Gavljak and they have already started celebrating.
“Firstly, [I] would love to congratulate the winner and hope they have a prosperous future. Secondly, as our family is extremely competitive, we would love to know if it was me, mum or dad that sold the winning ticket!
“As we are a 100% family run business, we had a nice family dinner together to celebrate this milestone.”
