The Central Coast Mariners have announced they’ve appointed Alyssar Narey as the football club’s next Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment has seen her become the first female CEO of the Mariners in the Australian Professional Football Leagues (APL) competition.
Alyssar steps into the role with a wealth of experience from her extensive career in sports administration, business development and agency management.
Alyssar joined the Mariners from the APL, consistently demonstrating the ability to elevate operations, rebuild relationships and create a strong connection between the football department and administrative sides of the business.
With Alyssar at the helm, the Central Coast Mariners plan to continue their success, building on the remarkable achievements of recent years including the completion of a football ‘treble’ in the 2023/24 A-League’s Men Season.

During the club’s exciting era, Alyssar is committed to building the Central Coast Mariners identity as a community club, developing talent and ensuring the region remains at the heart of the club.
“I’m really excited to lead a club with a rich history, filled with great people and with such a strong connection to the community,” Alyssar said.
“My goal is to make sure the Mariners continue to remain a pillar for the Central Coast and show what’s possible when a business and its community work together.”
Alyssar will commence in her role immediately, with interim CEO Adam Thomson to continue to assist the Club for a few weeks to facilitate a smooth transition.
The Central Coast Mariners also confirmed Chairman Richard Peil will be stepping back from his day-to-day involvement in the club to focus on his other business ventures with his trusted business partner Jordan Smith set to take over as Executive Chairman.
