You read that headline correctly, now let us confirm the glorious news: the landmark Archibald by ALAND has an opening date and we’ve got all the deets.
The residential development side of the Archibald by ALAND will open later this year, with the hotel – Voco Gosford – to open in mid-2025 as per hotelmanagement.com.au, marking the first new build hotel opening on the Central Coast in 15 years.
The building was topped out by Premier Chris Minns earlier this week at a whopping 28 storeys, making it the highest landmark in Gosford.
Construction on the Archibald by ALAND development commenced mid-2023, with the highly anticipated project transforming the 108 Donnison Street site into a vibrant lifestyle destination.
This development consists of twin towers on a shared podium, one facing Mann and Donnison Street and the other facing Baker and Donnison Street, housing 323 residential apartments, 130 premium hotel rooms and multiple food and beverage outlets.
Residents of the Archibald development will have direct access to resort-style facilities including a podium pool with a swim-up bar.
Archibald will also be home to a ground floor dining precinct and Gosford’s only rooftop Skybar & Lounge, which will have 270-degree, uninterrupted views of Brisbane Water.
The central location places Archibald less than five minutes’ walk from Gosford Waterfront and Gosford Train Station.
The development is also a short walk from the University of Newcastle’s new high-tech campus which is set to be built on Mann Street in the coming years, making it a drawcard for buyers.
