Married At First Sight’s Lauren has defended fellow bride Tori’s actions, saying the bombshell was Tori’s chance for revenge.
Joining Gina & Matty for the first time, Lauren didn’t hold back as she discussed Jono’s text message scandal with former bride Ellie, whether she’s friends with Tori post-MAFS and the upcoming reunion.
Lauren defended her co-star, explaining some secret tensions between the couples we viewers didn’t see.
“I have to defend Tori here. She was taking joy in Jono’s pain because you don’t really see it a lot but really the whole season Jono really kinda just gunned for them [Tori and Jack],” Lauren explained to Gina & Matty.
“As much as I did [gun] for Jack, the information that they [Tori and Jack] kept getting given and exposing Jack would tell Jono and Jono would tell me.”
“It was interesting ‘cause Jack was sitting on this information all season and he never said anything [so] Tori was like, ‘It’s my chance to say something about you Jono’,” Lauren said.
When pressed by Gina & Matty on what we can expect from the upcoming final vows, Lauren didn’t mince her words.
“Words like ‘obliterated’ and ‘eviscerated’ come to mind but I will let you guys make up your mind.”
