Married At First Sight’s couple Ellie and Jono have revealed if they’re still together following last night’s explosive reunion episode.
Joining Gina & Matty as a couple for the first time, the controversial duo spilled the tea on last night’s episode with the pair doubling down on their actions throughout the show, Lauren’s actions and reactions – all while maintaining what we saw was a producer’s “cut and paste” job.
Jono admitted it was “rough” watching last night’s episode saying, “It’s definitely not how we remember it going.”
Jono admitted to Gina & Matty that he chased Ellie’s number “about a week after final vows”.
“I messaged Ellie saying ‘Hey, I need your number to give you a call, we’re in big trouble’ and she was like okay and sent me her number and I gave her a call,” Jono explained.
“And I told her that Lauren had made it look like our messages were cheating, and I was packing my dacks and Ellie just laughed.”
Ellie also confirmed that not everything we saw on last night’s episode was in “chronological” order.
“No, you saw some really horrible behaviour from me which was actually from the end of the night and was directed at Sara and not at Lauren, so it was a lot of cut and paste,” Ellie said.
