After years of watching and waiting, Gosford RSL officially opened to the public yesterday, March 27, 2024, and we’ve got your first look inside the snazzy new venue.
The local landmark has been completely transformed with the ultra-modern space embracing and building on the community the club has formed over the years.
The striking building now gives the illusion it is floating in the air, with the ground floor offering a grand entrance with its impressive foyer leading visitors into the reception, servicing both the RSL and the adjoining motel, as well as a new RSL museum.
The museum is an initiative of the Gosford RSL Sub Branch, commemorating the servicemen from the region and their contributions to Australia, spanning from the Boer Wars to more recent conflicts.
Once on the first level, patrons will experience the dynamic dining experience of The Gardens, which offers something for everyone. The layout encompasses everything from a bar, lounge, café, multiple dining areas, kids’ play zone and a teenage retreat.

Diners are now able to choose from five culinary experiences including modern Australian, Asian fusion, and Argentinian grill, alongside wood-fired pizzas and a café.
Helmed by Executive Chef Simon Quick, the menus feature globally inspired signature dishes with highlights including an Argentinian grill ‘platter’ and so much more drool-worthy food.
You won’t go thirsty either, with The Gardens home to signature and inventive cocktails, crafted by Gosford RSL’s talented team of mixologists.
Level two is home to several experiences including The Grandstand Sports Bar, complete with multiple screens, competition-sized snooker and billiard tables and a top-notch sound system.
This level is also home to a state-of-the-art conference and events centre – The Gallery.

The features of the brand new Gosford RSL do not stop there, with the Oak Haven Brewery also calling level two of the ultra-modern venue home.
Born in 2018, the brewery is a testament to the club’s commitment to providing fresh, high-quality beer for its patrons, with the Oak Haven Brewery currently brewing eight national and internationally recognised award-winning beers.
We don’t know about you, but we’re blown away!
Gosford RSL CEO Russell Cooper said the new look club makes a bold new statement at the gateway to the Central Coast.
“At Gosford RSL, we’re proud to be a community-owned organisation dedicated to entertaining and supporting our local community,” Mr Cooper said.
“Our new building makes a bold statement at the gateway to the Central Coast, providing exceptional hospitality spaces and premier conference and events facilities to entertain both locals and visitors.”
Mr Cooper said the $50 million dollar development has made an impact on the Central Coast community.
“This project has not only created hundreds of jobs and injected millions into the local economy, but also led to the hiring of over 50 new staff members,” said Mr Cooper.
“We’re thrilled to unveil the new Gosford RSL Club, featuring the Gardens, the Grandstand, and the Gallery. While our building offers a wow factor and top-notch food and drinks, it’s our commitment to exceptional service that remains unchanged. The warm, personable, and professional service that defines Gosford RSL will continue to be our hallmark.”
The work isn’t stopping anytime soon, with the former Gosford RSL club to be demolished in the coming weeks to establish an additional 154 car parking spaces to accommodate patrons.
