You’ve read the headline correctly now let us confirm this glorious news: Disney on Ice is skating into Newcastle this July.
Disney on Ice is set to take over the Newcastle Entertainment Centre for multiple shows between July 11 and 14 and we’re beyond excited about it.
The whole gang will be at Disney on Ice’s Road Trip Adventures, with the show set to follow all of our favourite Disney characters from the past and present.
Exciting twists and turns await as Mickey Mouse and his Disney friend embark on a wild ride to your favourite Disney destinations.
The show will feature world-class skating, high-flying acrobatics and unexpected stunts and of course, the unexpected hijinks and magic at every turn.
Don’t forget to bring your singing voices, ‘cause you’ll be singing along with Moana to the sun soaked Motunui before setting off on a safari to the Pride Lands with Simba.
You’ll of course be swept off your feet in Aladdin’s princely parade before playing in the larger-than-life carnival with Woody and his sidekick Forky.
Obviously this show is for the kids, but there will also be something for the big kids at heart with Disney on Ice taking us on a nostalgic trip down memory lane with our favourite childhood characters.
Yes, we’re talking about The Little Mermaid, Frozen and plenty more of your faves from the classic Disney movies taking to the ice in this magical two-hour extravaganza.

Disney on Ice: Road Trip Adventures is set to skate into the Newcastle Entertainment Centre from Thursday, July 11, 2024, until Sunday, July 14, 2024, with both daytime and evening shows.
The show runs for approximately one hour and a half to two hours, with a 15-20 minute intermission to stretch your legs.
