Team News:

It has been a massive off-season for the Central Coast Mariners who have announced a few key signings for both their Men’s and Women’s teams.

Socceroo Trent Sainsbury has returned home to the Central Coast Mariners, having previously won the 2012/13 A-League Championship with the club.

At the time of his signing, Sainsbury said his return home is a full circle moment.

“I’m super excited to be returning to the Central Coast. Coming back here was always the option for me, a real full circle moment having made my professional debut for the club,” Sainsbury said.

Sainsbury isn’t the only new face for this season, with the Men’s side also announcing the arrival of 23-year-old Sabit Ngor from Western United.

The Central Coast Mariners Women’s side has also received some massive signings, with the club confirming they’ve extended Women’s Team Captain Taren King’s contract for two years.

Women’s Captain Taren King led the team out onto Industree Group Stadium for the first time in front of over 5,000 fans in our Round One Derby match, before scoring the side’s first goal back in the A-League against Adelaide a week later.

Additionally, the squad has welcomed Young Matilda’s Captain Jessika Nash who said she was looking forward to her first season in yellow and navy.

“I am so excited to be here on the Coast. It is a place that I used to visit regularly as a kid, watching games at the stadium, so to be a part of the team and community is really special,” Nash said.

The squad has also welcomed former United Kingdom Women’s Super League (WSL) winner Brooke Nunn and WSL forward Jade Pennock.

Community Club:

The Central Coast Mariners are proudly a community club, with that continuing in the 2024/25 A-League season.

Make sure you check out their community section here to read all about their Mighty Mariners School Holiday Clinics and how you can get your community club involved in Macca’s Halftime Heroes.

The Central Coast Mariners and the NSW Government have also recently teamed up for

a brand new initiative to address gender-based violence in the community.

Onside with the Mariners is aimed at addressing gender based violence and promoting respectful relationships, starting with secondary school students on the Central Coast.

Sadly, the Central Coast consistently ranks among the highest in the state of incidents of domestic and family violence.

Onside with the Mariners is designed to tackle this issue head on, with the program intended as a primary prevention initiative, using football to foster discussions about healthy relationships, respect and conflict resolution.

Club Kits:

To celebrate their 20th year in the A-League, the Central Coast Mariners have launched a brand new club kit – and it could be all yours.

Mariners’ iconic yellow and navy colours feature prominently on the home and away kits, paying homage to the club’s history and heritage, whilst a white third kit represents the club’s future ambition.

Celebrating 20 is embedded into the neckline of all three shirts, acting as a constant reminder to players and fans that every time players pull on the jersey they are celebrating the heritage of the club.

After completing a footballing treble during the 2023/24 season, the 2024-25 shirts will now feature a star containing the number three above our logo, representing our three A-League Championships.

The best part? You’ll be able to purchase your very own jersey in just a few short weeks via the Official Central Coast Mariners Shop in just a few short weeks.
