Congratulations are in order for one Central Coast man who is now an instant millionaire after hitting the jackpot – literally!
The Wadalba local held one of two division one winner entries drawn on Monday, March 10, 2025 with each winner pocketing a cool $1 million each.
The Lott broke the win to the Wadalba local, with the man completely oblivious to his win as he enjoyed breakfast.
“God! I need to get a bit of air now,” he exclaimed to The Lott.
“This is much, much needed for lots of things. I was about to have breakfast. This is a good awakening.”
The local revealed that he kept playing his late Father’s lotto numbers for luck.
“My dad started playing lotteries back in the 1980s, but when he passed away I kept some of his numbers going.”
“I just kept playing them, just in his memory and added some new ones from the family. They were very special numbers and now they’re even more special now,” he explained.
“We’re working-class people so it will come in very handy and allow us to help ourselves and everyone around us.
“Thank you for the news! You’ve just made my day!”
The man’s entry was purchased at Wadalba Newsagency, with manager Tina Ford sharing that her outlet was celebrating their latest division one win.
“We’re very excited for that customer to win this major prize. It’s a life-changing prize and we wish them all the very best,” Ford said.
“Everyone will also be so excited for them and hoping they’re our next big winner.”
