“Together forever”.
Bindi Irwin has honoured her late father and Australian legend Steve Irwin in a touching post on her Instagram on the 12th anniversary of his death.
On Tuesday, Bindi posted a photo of the family with Bindi sitting on her dad’s lap while her younger brother Robert sits on his mother’s lap.
“Together forever” the heartfelt post read.
The now 20-year-old was just eight years old when her father passed away after being attacked by a stingray on the Great Barrier Reef in 2006.
Speaking at the event in Los Angeles, Bindi said: ‘We try to continue dad’s legacy each and every day and we want to make sure everything he lived and died for continues on into the future. I have to tell you that I never in my wildest dreams imagined that this would become a reality and this is such an honour as a family.’
